Manipularea psihologică este un tip de influență socială care urmărește schimbarea percepției sau comportamentului celorlalți cu ajutorul unor tactici ascunse, amăgitoare sau chiar abuzive. Pentru că manipulatorul își urmărește doar propriile interese, deseori în detrimentul altora, aceste metode pot fi considerate exploatatoare, imorale și înșelătoare.
